Some folks are losing their minds over the Cleveland Guardians. I hate to borrow a phrase but; Get Over It!
Rather than giving us a seat at the table, colonial powers just grab one of our people and plug them into their colonial systems. Mary Simon was sworn in as the Governor General of Canada this week and Deb Haaland is the US Secretary of the Interior. The problem is: they work for them, not us.
White folk again are losing their mind but this time over Simone Biles withdrawing from Olympic competition. Whatever took her out of her game, I have a similar scenario that has struck Native men working in high steel.
